Sophisticated Buyers snap up classy Vita condos – proving the Vancouver real estate market is still in Rude health Vancouver.
Despite anything you might have heard the downtown Vancouver/Yaletown real estate market is clearly still in great shape. Buyers snapped up the initial release of stylish condominium homes at Vita, the first tower at Symphony Place, Solterra Development’s stylish landmark project, located across from The Orpheum. Demand was so high that the developer is moving up their plans to release more homes.
Solterra’s commitment to these two ideals is now taking shape in Vita Condos. Billed as being at “the gateway to Vancouver’s cultural district” due to its prime location,Vita is a 28-storey,146-unit tower offering homes ranging from 503 square feet for a one-bedroom condominium and up to 1,820 square feet for a penthouse.
Vita living features boutiques and restaurants at ground level, micro-office space within the podium and a large, fully equipped amenity area on the fifth floor. When both towers of Symphony Place are completed,
they will be joined by a porte cochère that will
extend from the entrance to shelter those getting in
and out of vehicles.

Vita Tower: between Yaletown and the downtown core sits that big old middle area we keep ignoring, yet that is currently undergoing lots of renewal.
No surprise that after this first tower is sold, the second tower will be called Dolce. What Solterra, the developer, wanted to do is create a landmark in the way that the library is.
Vita Condos will feature a 120-ft. coloured Cadenza art-glass wall that will reflect traffic lights in a spectacular way.
Restaurants and boutiques are planned along Smithe to make it fun and pedestrian-friendly. Where will people park to attend The Orpheum now? In a specially designed parkade inside the office podium. Voilà!

Interiors at Vita have been planned with every square inch and every design detail in mind. From state-of the- art Kohler shower tiles that spray water without visible fixtures, to Euro-sized and designed kitchen appliances that look like cabinets, to art-glass walls that slide to maximize space, Solterra has taken all those little things in life, all those small details, and made them better.
Even the dishwasher rocks: it’s a Fischer-Paykell dish drawer that’s like a big pot drawer with regular wash capacity, which also looks like cabinetry. Kitchen? It may be the centre of the action but really, when you look around, design central, too.
Lots of amenities at Vita Condo:
indoor and outdoor play areas for kids, since more and more condo dwellers are staying downtown even after they start families; a club room with a big-screen TV; an outdoor hot tub and a large gym with a difference.
Instead of regulation stationary bikes, there will be a virtual spinning area with a big programmable screen so you can make a boring ride into a visit to, for example, the hills of the Napa Valley or any number of other scenic spots that will give a good workout.
At Vita, every courtesy is being shown the already enthusiastic potential buyers.

Buyers of Vita Condos, at Symphony Place, are loving the concept of living at the gateway to the Arts & Entertainment district in downtown Vancouver and, in fact, are snapping up these bright, jazzy homes as fast as they are being released by the developer…and occasionally heading out to see a ballet right after purchasing!
Whatever homeowners love to do, it’s almost certainly within walking distance, which
made the theme behind these towers - “La Dolce Vita at Symphony Place”- an obvious
choice.
A lot of background research went into the design of this development. The results – an architectural landmark with a 4 storey podium that incorporates the unique details of art deco buildings of New York and premium finishes of warm brick, glass and polished granite.

Also, special attention went into the selection of the public art piece which is incorporated
into the exterior façade of the building structure facing the Orpheum for all of Vancouver
to enjoy.
Unique details were incorporated like sliding art glass walls, mosaic marble kitchen back splashes, European faucets, Kohler water tiles, etc. And, with more and more couples are also staying downtown to raise families, Solterra included a separate indoor and outdoor play area for kids of Symphony Place residents in addition to the normal amenities found in downtown towers.
At Vita, it’s difficult to separate art and life – the two blend together, both inside and out.
Vita at Symphony Place features 146 stylish condominiums including one bedroom,
two bedroom and penthouses. This project is located at the corner of Seymour and
Smithe.
